Founder & CEO | Incense Producer
Hiro Nakayama is a multi-hyphenate professional working at the intersection of corporate leadership, brand building, and scent-driven cultural entrepreneurship.
She has worked across marketing and human resources roles in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and Tokyo, including serving as Marketing Manager at Givaudan Singapore, one of the world’s leading fragrance houses. After more than 20 years abroad, she relocated to Japan in 2017.
Engaged in the scent business since 2008, she currently balances her entrepreneurial work with a full-time role at a global IT company and serves as a facilitator for #IAmRemarkable, powered by Google.
Her writing has appeared in Perfumer & Flavorist, publications of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Beyond Magazine.
She holds an M.A. from California State University, Los Angeles, and enjoys traveling and scuba diving.
